Privacy Policy

Here's exactly what we collect, why, and how to get rid of it. The short version: we only ever ask for your email address, we only use it to tell you about runs, and we never sell it to anyone.

What we collect

Only what you hand us. That means:

• Your email address, if you enter it on our welcome screen to join the list.
• Anything you send us directly — your name, your message, your email address — if you email us or message us on Instagram.

We don't ask for your phone number, your address, your date of birth, or payment details. There is nothing to pay for, so we never collect card information.

How we use it

• To send occasional updates about the club — meetup spots, time changes, weather calls.
• To reply when you get in touch with a question.

That's it. We don't use your email for anything else.

Where it's stored

Email addresses from the welcome screen are saved to a private Google Sheet that only the club's organisers can open. Google processes that data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

We never sell your information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your email address with anyone. No advertisers, no sponsors, no third parties. The sponsors and partners listed on this site are there because we like them — they don't get your details.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. We don't know who visits, how many visit, or where they came from.

The site does remember one thing in your own browser's local storage: whether you've already joined the list, so you aren't asked twice. That stays on your device, we can't read it, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Two parts of the site load content from Google, which may set its own cookies: the embedded map on the Where to Find Us section, and Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces. Google's own privacy policy covers those.

Getting your information deleted

Email us at flyterunclub@gmail.com and ask. We'll remove your address and confirm when it's done. You don't need to give a reason and there's no form to fill in.

Children

This site isn't aimed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us their email address, tell us at flyterunclub@gmail.com and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how any of this works, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
